In Loving Tribute to King Rama IX, All 7-Elevens in Thailand Closed on October 26

October 26th is the cremation ceremony of King Rama IX, a national public holiday in Thailand. Many chain stores were closed, including the 24-hour 7-Elevens!

In honor and remembrance of King Rama IX, the Charoen Pokphand Group announced that all CP Fresh Mart supermarkets across Thailand will temporarily close from 15:00 on October 26, reopening at 06:00 on October 27. All True Shops (excluding airport stores) will temporarily close from 15:00 on October 26, reopening on October 27. All 7-Eleven convenience stores across Thailand will close from 14:30 to 24:00 on October 26.

Additionally, Central department stores (excluding Central World) and Terminal 21 malls will also cease operations.
