Start by ordering a variety of items such as coffee, juices, desserts, and ice cream.
I ordered a hot latte (100 baht), which was smooth and rounded with a unique coffee aroma—absolutely delicious!
Next, I tried an iced Americano made from Arabica coffee beans from Phatang in Northern Thailand. It was smooth and refreshing too!
The ceramic and glass hanging decorations are the café’s standout feature. The minimalistic style, from the floors to the counter and the chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, looks cool and has an artistic atmosphere.
The side walls are adorned with stunning ceramic and glass plates and bottles embedded into the wall, making them a popular spot for photos.
There are also many beautiful corners worth exploring.
There are plenty of spots for photos, especially on the side near the seaside.
The café does not have air conditioning, but the fans and sea breeze are enough to keep you cool. Even without taking photos, you can enjoy the view of cargo ships entering and leaving the Chao Phraya River. It's well worth the visit!
The late afternoon at Bang Pu Seaside, with the setting sun, is also a perfect spot to watch the sunset.
Suk Da Bridge
At 4:00 PM, head towards Bang Pu Seaside and take Songthaew 36 to the nearby alley, then walk to Suk Da Bridge.
Bang Pu Seaside is home to a vast number of mangroves, making it an ideal habitat for seabirds and other marine life. It has become one of Thailand’s most famous bird-watching locations, with over 200 species of birds, particularly seagulls.
The 500-meter-long Suk Da Bridge has become one of the most popular tourist spots near Bangkok during the winter.
From November to March each year, thousands of seagulls migrate south to escape the harsh winter in Siberia, Mongolia, China, and Tibet. They find a warm winter home at Bang Pu, making it an excellent spot for bird watching.
During the breeding season, the seagulls return home in late March to build nests, lay eggs, and raise their young. When winter comes, they once again migrate to Bang Pu Seaside.
Year after year, Bang Pu Seaside becomes a popular destination every winter.
Thanks to Instagram-worthy photos, visitors to Bang Pu Seaside often take pictures feeding the seagulls.
Originally, local restaurants would dispose of leftover pork fat, which attracted seagulls to come and eat. Over time, this became a popular activity for tourists to feed the seagulls. The price ranges from 10 to 50 baht depending on the size.
Holding the pork fat high in the air with one hand, clever seagulls will fly over to snatch it from you. You’ll feel a strong pull on your fingers, but don't worry about getting hurt. You can also throw the pork fat into the air, and the seagulls will swoop down to catch it mid-flight.
Bang Pu Seaside is also an excellent spot for watching both sunrises and sunsets. Find a quiet place to watch the changing light, with the glowing golden sunset and soaring seagulls creating a beautiful scene.
