1) The largest Starbucks in Thailand
The largest Starbucks branch in Thailand is located on the 7th floor of ICONSIAM, one of the most beautiful areas along the Chao Phraya River. With an area of over 1200 square meters, spanning two floors, the indoor seating (280 seats) and outdoor seating (70 seats) offer a total of 350 seats, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful river view.
Starbucks Reserve™ Chao Phraya Riverfront offers an unprecedented Starbucks coffee experience. Get ready for the Teavana™ bar, the first tea beverage bar in Thailand, featuring a "new imagining tea" concept, offering a fun and refreshing tea experience. The "Starbucks Muan Jai Blend Coffee" was also created in collaboration with coffee farming communities in Northern Thailand.
Inspired by the Chao Phraya River
Inspired by the story of the Chao Phraya River, the store was designed to resemble a boat. The ceiling area is decorated with lanterns designed to float, resembling water lanterns released during the Loy Krathong Festival, beautifully reflecting Thai culture. Additionally, the terrazzo walkway is designed to resemble ripples of water, guiding customers to various corners of the store.
The store features artistic decorations created by renowned artists, including Rakkit Kuanhawet, telling stories of planting and nurturing, making it particularly eye-catching.
From upstream to downstream, the "Starbucks Muan Jai Blend Coffee" flows through the mountain atmosphere and landscape, with the river serving as a cultural connection point. There’s also a sales point where customers can buy the "Muanjai Blend Coffee" in coffee bean form to brew at home.
This branch also offers exclusive products, such as the specially designed Benjarong coffee mugs, available only at this location.
2) Starbucks Reserve Experience Bar
When you step into the store, you’ll find the main beverage bar, equipped with the latest Mastrena II coffee machines and experienced baristas creating top-tier coffee. Alongside the luxurious reserve bar, which is prominently placed in the center of the store, you can enjoy rare reserve coffees from around the world and Thai-style wood carvings, creating an unforgettable experience.
Before heading to the mezzanine, coffee trees from Northern Thailand plantations greet you with pleasant green colors. The stairs leading to the mezzanine are inspired by the coffee flavor wheel design, preparing you for a Starbucks landmark tour. Each staircase platform features information about the store and coffee farms from around the world.
For those seeking a quiet and private space, the mezzanine offers comfortable seating corners designed in a stadium style, where you can relax in a cozy atmosphere while enjoying drinks and the panoramic view of the Chao Phraya River, adding a charming touch to the entire experience.
3) The first store to offer the Muanjai Blend Coffee
Previously, Starbucks only offered the "Muanjai Blend Coffee" in coffee bean form.
ICONSIAM is the second "Community Store" in Thailand, bringing resources to local communities through a "profit-sharing" business model. It is the first store offering various espresso drinks from Coffee Master, which are made by deducting 10 Thai Baht from each "Muanjai Blend Coffee" sold, and using the proceeds to improve the quality of life for people.
4) Teavana Bar Cold Drinks
One of the features of the store is the first Teavana™ bar in Thailand, serving a drink that combines the fragrance of green tea and peach juice (180 Baht), with lime for a tangy taste and mint leaves for another layer of flavor, topped off with soda water for a refreshing experience.
If you enjoy fruity and sweet teas, try the Iced Lychee Earl Grey Tea (180 Baht), which is made with lychee juice and sweetness, and then enhanced with butterfly pea juice for a colorful and beautiful look. Another recommended menu item is Iced Sunset (170 Baht), inspired by the sunset, which includes caffeine-free tea, orange juice, orange pulp, and soda water for a fresh and perfect sweet-sour taste.
Freshly Baked Goods
Another feature of this place is its irresistible dessert area, offering a variety of freshly baked goods daily, such as butter croissants (65 Baht), made with high-quality fresh butter from France. A bite reveals a subtle creamy fragrance, with a perfectly crispy exterior and soft interior. Additionally, try the quinoa onion and Emmental cheese twist (75 Baht), with layers of thin, crispy dough filled with béchamel sauce, onions, and Emmental cheese, offering a rich and fragrant flavor.
